That's correct. I want to be able to retrieve a client-side, disconnected, ADO recordset by executing a 2-table join on the backend which will return a rs containing key fields from the two tables and be able to modify the key field values in the rs on the client side. The reason is I am performing manipulations on the rs on the client side for client-side tracking purposes. This might include adding rows to the rs and updating the key field for tracking purposes. However, it appears this cannot be done, at least I have found no way.
