If I remember correctly,

Under the advances properties of the client:

Turn Cache Writes =off
File Cache Level =0

You might also want to try

True Committ = ON
Packet Burst = OFF


And of course, if they run out of space you will get corruption.

Some people recommended to me that we use the Microsoft client instead of the Novell client, but our IT guy wouldn't go for it.
