I thought so too, but no, it will not release the class.

Actually, SET CLASSLIB TO myBase will not load the class in the memory (help says it "opens" the class lib).

My problem was, the class is in the memory, it does not get there through a SET CLASSLIB, therefore VFP refuse to obey the CLEAR CLASSLIB - unless you issue a SET CLASSLIB TO...
