In a world without politics and hidden agendas, that statement would answer all questions. However, as Carl has pointed out, it's not that simple.

The Edsel was a fast, safe and reliable car, but it was funny looking so it died. Since Foxpro is not all things to all people it means that someone has to actually think about the problem before deciding whether foxpro is the right tool and whether it can do it at all. With VB, there's no thinking, it'll do it, one way or another, may not be the BEST answer, but it's the EASY answer.

I'm still trying to figure out why there are so many positions available at companies that are 'upgrading' from FPD/FPW to Access???!!! It's like trading up from a 67 Camaro to a 98 Ninja Motorcycle...DUH! (Anyone suspect that I like cars?? lol)
