Hmm... So you are changing the file type association, right? That's the correct thing to do. Make sure that you are just double-clicking on the file in a folder or something and not in a link (like in word or another html document). I had a problem with my html file associations once when I installed StarOffice. It took ownership of them, but when I removed StarOffice, I couldn't figure out how to tell Windows to stop looking for StarOffice when it went to open the file. There must be a registry setting or something.
