>Hi all,
>
>I am the administrator of a small Windows NT 4.0 network, with NT 4 workstations. I was experimenting with NT system policies and I accidentally applied some very restrictive system policies to all users in the domain, including the admin account. Now, every computer I log on to is totally locked down because of the strict policy, even the PDC, regardless of which account I log on to.
>
>The policy is very strict: no network neighborhood, no command-line prompt, no file browsing, no registry editing, no "run" option on the start menu, etc. I can't seem to access poledit.exe or ANY other administrative application.
>
>Please help! What can I do to get around this? Does having administrative access mean nothing in this situation?

Buy a copy of ERD Commander pro from Winternals -
www.winternals.com - it has the ability to edit the security permissions for the system.
>Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
