>I am having a terrible time trying to figure out the best way to print letters in VFP 5.0. It seems that no matter what I try, (eg. Report Form, TextMerge, Word Mail Merge) I always run into some problem. I can't believe it is so hard to print a simple business letter from within VFP. Isn't there hundreds of companies out there that have this requirement? Anybody out there that has found a way to print form letters share your solution with me please? Thank you

Well, another weakness of VB!! (rofl)
Word was written in VB, but even the wonderful Office 97 version CAN'T USE A DBC!!! MS never ceases to amaze me.
Gene, I think the best way to get a sharp looking letter is to copy the necessary data from a table in your DBC to a free table and then mail merge from that table. You could write a simple app to do it without user intervention and then distribute it to anyone who needs the data. That way anyone can write a form letter in word and get data from the DBF.
