Even if you do it manually, the commands will come back (on VFP6). If you delete lines (or everything) from the command window, they always reappear the next time you execute a command.

It is the same thing as changing a command that was previously executed...the new version of the line goes to the bottom, and the original line is redisplayed on the screen as it was originally.
