Hi Sandi.
>I have an old FPW2.6 application which was using getfilt from the Stonefield Data Dictionary to provide a Filter screen (replacing the Expression Builder that comes with FoxPro). I am rewriting this into Visual 6.0 and want to replace this function with the new SF Query/SF Reports. How do I do this?
The SFQuery documentation has example of how to use it both visually (drop the SFQuery object on a form) or programmatically (using CREATEOBJECT). In 2.6, you called the GETFILT routine and it returned the filter expression for the user's filter. In SFQuery, you instantiate the object, call the Show method to display the dialog, then use the cFilter property for the filter expression.
