I'm new to Web development and I recently build a set fo pages with Visual Interdev and applied a layout and theme from the ones listed by de VID wizard.

It all works nicely when exploring the pages with IE, however I tried to explore the same pages with Netscape Navigator 4.7 and all the nice features where gone.


I'd like to know if Netscape just can't interpret some commands built into the source code of pages created with VID, or it needs to have any plug or add inn's in order to work with such pages.

Does it have something to do with server extensions?

In such case that Netscape has any limitations before Microsft technologies, I'd like to know how are users divided on the use IE and Netscape.

Is there a place to go to consult such information?
