I haven't used you class but I'm planning on trying it out.

AFA the Text1 I change the names on occasion. I have a couple textbox classes for numbers with specail formatting and will replace the textbox with those. I'm to lazy to the change the name so they end up being called txtSqFt1 or txtMoney1.
