>A client has an intranet and wants to put a link to a Fox executable on an HTML page. They are running NT 3.51 and using Internet Explorer. Is there a way to run the executable without bringing up the 'File Download' dialog asking if they want to run the program or save it to disk? Thanks.

To run it client-side, the executable, and a significant amount of the runtime files, and an installer, to do this. Its possible to write client-side script to check for the executablealready installed, and then fire off a download and install, but the time on slow connections is probably going to take to long to not notify the client about the action, and many people disable client-side scripting entirely, and considerably more won't rant you permission to run an executabe loaded from the Web - I block and quarentine all files when I didn't ask for them or show up unexpectedly.
