Meaningless the message may be- but the thing sure does bomb!

As far as importing is concerned it does not finish the import. I seem to remember a dbf where you had to change the value of some memo field from 3.0 to something else or just empty it, or some such thing, but can not for the life of me remember which one...
I guess you noticed by now that I´m a bit vague on this issue.

Further help appreciated.
