Regardless, the one thing that is clear is the CLR/IL is not going to be the same thing as VFP's existing interpretive engine, and at present, changing VFP's existing runtime approach to an IL engine will be expensive in terms of existing services, backwards compatibility, and speed. We're still a year from a real product, and we're not going to be at a disadvantage AFA learning curve compared to the VB community based on the recent discussions in the newsgroups, and what I've seen in the PDC Tech Preview. Plenty of time to ramp up on C#.
