Not so.. I just today received a private email from Jim. In the email he gave me his current office phone number and suggested that I pass it along to those who were (my words) at a point of having no other options (technically speaking).

I sent him an email back requesting advice on how I pass the number out as I'd expect that a public posting might overwhelm him, so I'm just looking to be smart here. I suppose, in my case, that's something of a lost cause. <g> Just as soon as I get his permission/advice/direction I'll make sure to do what he asks. I'm not sure how he wants this handled and since he and I kind of go back a ways I want to make sure I don't overstep my bounds either. I don't want to violate his trust.

I think he just got overwhelmed for a while and needed a little space. Again, my take, not his words.

Anyway, he mentioned that he's been extremely busy on a sort of research project and I got the distinct impression that his daily load was lifting a little. He said he'd been away from computers for a couple weeks and was trying to catch back up on things.

I know this isn't as definitive as I'd like and I can imagine others as well. Still, it's the best I can do right now.
