I'm using VFP tables.
Really, Delete - SQL and Update - SQL are updating the buffered records only in copy of the table the user is working. After TableUpdate, all copies of this table in use are updated. But this is not a problem because I'm working only with these records.
My problem occurs by the fact that Select - SQL only return records fisically recorded in table.
Scan... EndScan does not have same velocity of Select - SQL but is the only solution... at least for a while.
