Nope. They called just as much as needed. Just need to remember that when you call refresh of form, refresh of all other controls on form will be called too all over form objects tree. Same for containers (sub-trees). Nothing unusual. I have not seen any extra calls of Refresh already 3 years neither for VFP5, nor for VFP6, all SPs.
