GetSystemDirectory() did return D:\WINNT\System32 and GetWindowsDirctory() returned D:\WINNT.

Damn, I hate these type of mysteries. I guess that I could always make the declaration with the whole path to the Windows System directory but it worries me that my machine is having this problem and not knowing what other problems I may be having without knowing it.
