See Chapter 10 of the Programmer's Guide in the VFP Help. It is under the purple book icon, Using Visual FoxPro, Programmer's Guide, Creating the Interface, Using Controls. In that document, do a search for interactively add controls to a grid column. This will also tell you how to remove a control from a grid column.
