Yes, you are right.
Just thought that it would work this way.
You remember me of a problem i had/have to display the value of a control in the grid on mouseover which didn't work either that way.

But then you can have the doubleclick event propably in the grid itself too and determine with the mouse position what to do.
But probably the column will take it first. in that case you have to add your custom column class. (You can only create a column class in code)
