Hi!

'Height' = 'Size'
For VFP you will need size. No such thing as 'font width' exist for VFP. And it does not exist for windows font as well. Just because different letters in font can have different width, did you noticed that? That is why such function as 'TextWidth' is required in your application. It works accordingly certain font settings like fontbold, fontsoze, fonname etc. (see my note in previos message where I use these settings for _screen to call TextWidth method).

HTH.

>Now you're confused me completely. Where did I talk about font height? :)
>I want font width, height is interesting, but not important in my calculations. BTW, I already have a code for calculating number of spaces (check full thread for this), the only part, I had trouble, is to find these title bar font attributes: font name, font width, font style (bold, italic, etc.)

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
