It appears to me that the main 3rd-party tools for putting VFP apps (or apps accessing VFP data) on the web are West-Wind Connection and AFP, and there are lesser-known products such as FoxWeb and X-works, both of which have many fans.

I have had a look at trial versions of all of these products, but I'm still not sure with which product to go with. Are different products more suitable for different types of web application? I like the simplicity of AFP (from a web-page WYSIWIG approach) and FoxWeb (from an installation point-of-view), but I'm also aware (judging from postings here and in other fora) that WWC is probably the most popular approach, so it must have a lot going for it. What puts me off (slightly) WWC and FoxWeb is that any time a web-page change is required, HTML code has to be regenerated and stored in memo fields, which seems a pain from a testing point-of-view. On the other hand, from a support angle, WWC seems to come out on top.

I haven't gone into any of these products in great detail - I'm trying to get as much information as possible on each before proceeding.

Is there any information out there which summarises the pros-and-cons of each approach, especially regarding performance, ease/speed of development, cost, scalability, server installation, support, etc.?

Any opinions and/or information would be appreciated.
