Kevin,
Go to VFUG (
www.vfug.org), the Virtual FoxPro Users Group. If you're not a member, you can become one for free. In the Sept., 2000 newletter. Ed Rauh and I wrote an introudction to the Windows Script Host, of which the Scripting.FileSystemObject is a part. The introduction tells you what you need to know about how to tell if it's installed, what versions of Windows, and how to get it. In part 2 of the series (Oct. 2000), Ed and I discuss the WScript.Shell object. Part 3 (which we're wrapping up now for the Nov. issue) will discuss the Scripting.FileSystemObject.
