I've scratched my head raw on this one but cannot find the clue I need to solve this puzzle.

In our app, I have a frame with 4 windows. Select an object in the first window and you get a detailed description in the 3rd frame with editing buttons in the frame above it. If you click on the edit button, I want frame 3 to display an asp with editable fields. I am using the "parent.framename.location='editing.asp'" line but keep getting a "page is not found" error message.

I've checked - the file DOES exist in the same directory as the original pages in the frame. I've tried adding the whole enchilada http path to the call with no success. I've tried a "window.open" with the file name - still can't find it.

I CAN type in the full path and the file name on the address line and it WILL open! So what am I missing????? This is driving my batty -- so can someone help?
