I have not really worked with views, so I don't know if this will work in your situation. Can you add a field to the view that ranks your contact types by order of importance? So, in you would have something to build the new column similar to IIF(contacttype = “CO-LOCATION” , 1, IIF(contacttype = “DATA” , 2, IIF (contacttype = “VOICE” , 3, 4))) and then order by the new field.
