ohhhhh, well shuckz, I figured this was fox related. My idea here then would probably be overkill... but I was thinking a simple little VFP exe but in your situation you'd have to do a setup program and install the runtimes and whatnot.

Any chance you can step back and simplify the requirement a bit and just incorporate the ReadMe file info directly into the HTML help file instead?
