Mark,

I don't use SQL Server, but rather another SQL database. When I run a query in my interactive window it returns the first 5 records and then I need to press "more" to get another group. Does your enterprise manager return all rows in 5 seconds or just the first few? The time for VFP would be the time to return all rows.

I also know that returning data across the wire is pretty slow, but of course you are running all on the same machine, so this is not the problem you are having.

>Hi guys. I am having around 50,000 records in my sql server table. I have a filtered query which takes around 5 seonds if i run it from sql server enterprise manager.
