I was a good boy and created an app the "Microsoft way" and now it is biting me in the butt. Usually I create apps with free tables, but this time I decided that I would try it their way and used a database container. Everything worked wonderfully until I decided to make distribution disks and put it on other machines. I made a distribution tree and included my .EXE and the database and tables then created the disks. When I load it on another workstation, it gives me the following error:
Error Loading File - Record number 8. Form1
. Loading form or the dataenvironment: The table file has moved. Please validate database and try again.
I have burned an incident with Microsoft and at this point they are stumped. Does anyone here know how to distribute an app with a database container involved?
