I don't know about the ZModem part of your question, but the first part of your question reminded me that I never looked to see what exactly the MS Communications Control does support. I never ever even touched it before tonight.

I just created a new form, inserted the control on the form, and, with that control selected, pressed . It prepared the help file for that control that I thought gave quite a bit of info on MSComm. The syntax, properties, and events are all in there.
