I am experiencing a problem where I get a run-time error 7777 telling me I've used the Listindex improperly but not offering any explanation.

The problem appears to be that the object (combo box) does not have the focus. I would prefer not to give it the focus.

I have other comboboxes based on tables that I can reference the listindex for without giving the control the focus. In this case the rowsourcetype is a user-defined function. I even tried a value list with the same error.

Any explanation or suggestion would be much appreciated.
