I don't think the friday before easter is an official holiday. At my office we don't get it off and I don't think the post office does either.

>Houston,
>You are correct. In the US we have off on the Friday before Easter. I don't think we have off the following Monday. I'll take a look and try and incorporate your code in order to calculate Good Friday as a holiday. I was hoping to create a self contained custom class for this but now that I think about it there are sure to be other Holidays that aren't listed. For instance, here in Texas we have a bunch of holidays that no one else has. I'll have to figure a way to allow for those additional holidays as well. Thanks for all of your help and your code! Mighty kind of you!

>>>Doh! I left out Easter in my calculations. Hmmm, what have I gotten myself into?

>>Hi George,
>>In Rip's Dbf there are no holidays for Easter - in the U.K. we get a holiday on the Friday before Easter Sunday and on the following Monday. No so in the U.S.?
>>Houston.
>>PS. My earlier response includes a function that calculates the date of Easter Sunday.
