Mike,
I have been bitten by the same problem when I crashed and had to reboot on my W2K notebook. The only thing thing that got corrupted was an SCX form that I had been working on before I closed VFP.
FYI:
1. Windows 2K without SP1.
2. VFP6 SP4
3. VFP had already been closed prior to the my lockup and corruption. In fact all applications had been shutdown prior to the lockup.
4. The SCX was corrupted with actual data from a table that had been open previously but that had been closed. I opened the file up in an hex editor.
5. I had worked on some reports and some classes and they hadn't been affected by the crash.
6. My notebook locked up when it lost power while in a docking station.
7. I had to power off my notebook to reboot.
