We have a series of reports that run from temporary report files created by queries. We want to run the reports multi-user so each user creates his own report file for the report.

We can identify the machine name but don’t know how to attach the machine name to the report file name or the report source. In xBase we would name it: mMachineName + "Invoice".

The Make Table Query and the Report Source only allow a name to be entered, not a statement. How do we do this? When we looked at logged-in User Names it looked like someone could log in on several machines using the same name.

How is multiuser reports commonly handled in Access97?

Thanks in advance for advice ro referrals.
