David,

>I am using the Active X image edit control to display an image. I set the image property to the file I want to display in full path syntax. Then I call the display method and instead of picture I get a solid black box. I have tried BMP and TIF files. Any ideas?

You'll probably have to look in the ActiveX's help file.

The native VFP object can handle BMP, JPG and GIF, all you have to do is set the .Picture property. If you use the Kodak/Wang image ActiveX control it can handle TIF.
