I have been racking my brain off and on for several weeks trying to figure out how I can create a similar(yet less complex) effect of an office toolbar using VFP. I would like a VFP app to load from a desktop icon that looks like a two inch wide toolbar with some small buttons, advertising banner,etc, etc. I need it permantly docked on the top of the desktop and no min/max buttons. The tricky part is when the user maximizes another application (i.e. the browser) instead of covering or maxing beneath the VFP app it just buts up against the VFP window/toolbar. The same effect is acheived when docking the office toolbar. It is almost as if the desktop dimensions are altered while the toolbar is docked??? If this cannot be done in VFP for some strange reason, I be gald to learn how its done and I have a C++ guy I can hire once I know how to do it.
