You would *definitely* see a major improvement using SQLEXEC instead.

When I am running the query in enterprise manager it returns whole result set in 5 seconds. and when i am running it through vfp the whole result set takes around 15 seconds. btw, yes i am using view and also i have a large database. so that is affecting the speed? or its odbc? is there anything i can do to improve speed from vfp? I think one way is to use direct sqlexec instead of vfp view!? right?
