I am trying to create a form that is bigger than the screen. The size is the screen width by the appropriate height to be scale to a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 paper. (757 x 980)
I have figured out that I can go to "Tools | Options", "Forms", and set the "Maximum Design Area" to "(None)". With Borderstyle set to "3 (sizable)", a vertical scroolbar, and command buttons on the four corners, I sort of get the desired result.
When I use the scrollbar I can't get to the bottom of the screen. I can't see the buttons at the bottom of the form. I know they are there and that they work because I can tab to them and execute the code by pressing the enter key.
Additionally, when I exit the form and modify it, the form properties change. All I have to do is move the buttons at the bottom of the form and the height changes. I then have to resize the form in the properties window and redo the process all over again.
What am I doing wrong?
Is there a better (correct) way to create forms bigger than the screen?
