Abstract: Everyone has heard about the Linux hype these days. It is a secure, stable, efficient, reliable network operating system, but aside from compiling a kernel, what can *I* do with it? Samba is an SMB/NMB daemon that runs on Linux. It is used to share files and manage domains in place of an NT server, and a perfect start to integrating Linux into your world.
