Hmm that sounds a bit like the problem FoxPro DOS has when it can not locate the right files in the directory tree because it is searching the whole network tree. I never actually solved it but see further below for some more ideas.

Hmm try moving the drive letter from z: to something nearer the begining of the alphabet. Also check the cd-rom drive letters on the bad machines to see if they differ from the good machines. Try try moving the cd-rom drive letter to z:

Create a shortcut to your mfoxplus excutable. If you then examine the properties of the shortcut you will find various options for changing the screen size,fonts and various types of memory emulation settings.
Ensure that all these settings read the same as for your successful machines.
