Try using the Output option Spreadsheet -- Excel (XLS) -- Launch Pivot Table. That seems to get around the problem with the meaningless headers.

...I have a problem with the FoxFire Cross Tab option. I create a Cross Tab Query of Sales Reps Vs Sales Campaigns and output it to Excel. When outputting the Query to Excel the first line of the spreadsheet contains the field names but they are meaningless. E.g they are C_1, C_2, C_3, etc when they should have contained the Sales Campaign Descriptions. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any help is appreciated ...
