Hmmm...I know you can do a manual install by copying the dlls to the windows\system on hard drive, but when I tried running an exe with the dlls in the server directory only, I got instant errors -- it appeared the vfp500.dll could not be found, since it stopped so quickly, and "file not found" was one of the errors...
Unfortunately, it's not always a simple matter to test this idea, I had to go find a "guinea pig" at work, and maybe none of us can test it easily at home. (s)
