After some thought on this subject, and in concert with some I mentioned on another thread regarding the future of FoxPro, why don't we all (including the readers of this. You guys don't get away easily) just take dear ole (not to be confused with OLE) MS up on their "wish list". Perhaps if enough of us say the same thing, within a short time frame, we might actually get a result.

What I'm proposing is this: Tell MS that we need either for them to make report forms a true object (complete with a printed to printer property or method), or, at least, a system variable that would tell us when, and if, the report was driven to the printer. At all, there are enough useless ones of those around.

If I had the link at hand for the wish list, I'd certainly post it here. Perhaps some other kind soul will.

Anyway, boys and girls (with no offense meant to Valerie, Barbara, or any other, as Archie Bunker would say, readers of the "female persuasion"), waddya say? We complain a lot about where VFP is in the MS scheme of things, and their decisions. This is a real problem. They've given us a tool, but we can neither monitor it nor control it.

Of course, this is just my opinion. I could be wrong.
