You can explicitly select the config.fp file by adding the switch -c[config file path] to your program start up..i.e
MYPROG.EXE -CF:\APPS\CONFIG.FP or
MYPROG.EXE -C\\COMPUTERNAME\APPS\CONFIG.FP
