There is no solution for your problem in grid itself. Grid have a lot of functionality that is not configurable at all. One os such things is mouse cursors.
If your grid is read-only, you may put transparent shape that covers grid. This require a lot of programming, however, specially for forwarding of messages from shape to grid. So, ask self question first: is it worth enough to spend so much time just for mouse cursor?
