It's not in beta yet; there is a good deal of new functionality, but you won't be working with the actual product for another year. I believe that beta 1 is due sometime prior to GLGDW; MS announced that it'll be given to attendees at that conference, and supposedly, MSDN Universal subscribers will be receiving the beta VS.Net in next month's shipment.
