That's because I supplied one demo form for both versions. I will ad this note to the README.

That's possible to enable. If you tried my
FoxSpeaker, you might noticed, that when you click on the grid column headers in demo form (or in your own if you try it there) it becomes the active column. In fact, FoxSpeaker shares some code with
Grid HighLighter >3) When I change settings (turn it off and on), grid flashes itself.
Didn't see much flashing on Pentium 200, but it updates the Dynamic... properties and refreshes the grid at this moment. Turning the visual effects on and off is not a main purpose of GridHighlighter anyway :)
