Hi!

>Three questions.

Three answers ;)

>I used app hook in my original project. Not sure what its used for.

Its zero question, so we have 4 now ;)
Ok, APP hook is just as VFP class that runs ONLY in design-time to do something with files or content of project.

>1. Is it necessary to have app hook in my rebuilt project?

No, but when it contains some useful functionality in design-time, than yes.

>2. If so, how do I put it back in?

Open 'Project Info...' from shortcot menu. At the bottom you will see 'Project Class...'

>I have a backup that only hours old but have made changes to forms etc.
>3. Can I just copy the project (PJX and PJT) files from the backup without copying any other files from the backup? 4. Any problems doing it that way?

Of course! use PJX/PJT files and nothing elase. VFP project files structure is VERY transparent, that means when you edit some module, only files of that module changed and nothing else. PJX/PJT files changes when you add/delete/rename files and when you change their status or doing something else in the project (recompiling sometimes change project content too to update timestamps).

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
