Michael,

It sounds like you had an older version of the control with which you developed your forms. If the control manufacturer had changed the clsid or the guid then you will get this error. You may need to open the scx file and extract the properties and methods for the control then open the form in the form designer. Allow the designer to bypass loading the control and then add a new version of the control. Finally, replace the control's properties and methods, either through the form designer interface, or directly into the appropriate scx record. Of course, I recommend you copy the scx/sct pair before you do any of this.

Alternatively, you could uninstall the new version of the control and find your old version somewhere so you can install that.

Cheers,

Andrew

>I upgraded my PC to Windows Millenium today and had to reinstall everything. On the last touch of setup, I had to reinstall Catalyst Socket Tools. So, I downloaded their latest version, entered my key code and the installation went ok. The OCX I am using is also registered ok when I click on it. However, when I start Visual FoxPro and try to execute my application, I have a class not registered error. What am I missing?

If we were to introduce Visual FoxBase+, would we be able to work from the dotNet Prompt?
