>When I had Windows '98, I was using Microsoft fax standard software which came with the OS. Now, with Windows Millenium, I can't find it anymore. I assume there is a fax software built in that OS.

No fax software has been included with Win98 or WinME; if you install Outlook, it will install Symantec's WinFax Starter Edition; if you are running in a SBS Server or Win2K Server environment and have the MS Fax server installed, the fax client is installable from the server's Client file install.
