You may be able to add the MS Fax components from Win95 to ME in the same fashion that it could be added to Win98, but I've never tried. Most PCs that ship with a modem, or add-on modems for the PC come with third-party fax software like QuickLink or BitFax; they're both able to handle simple fax operations. There are also any number of shareware fax products around; you might want to try shareware.com or download.com to see what's available as alternatives to whatever software was bundled with the modem.
